Week commencing 1st June 2020 – Minibeasts

Good morning everyone

I hope you all managed to have a lovely half term. A HUGE welcome back to all the children that are returning this week, please do let me know your experiences of the new set up.

This week we are going to look at mini beasts. Learning sheet attached. A video of Lisa reading a story will be on facebook and the website later this afternoon but in the meantime this is a film of another mini beast story about a ladybird, guess who wrote it…………Julia Donaldson! Keep safe and well everyone.

Week commencing 18th May 2020 – The Little Red Hen

This weeks suggested home learning is to look at the story of The Little Red Hen and then we can think about animals that live on the farm in the next couple of weeks. We can also think what the animals give us.

Lisa will be live on our private facebook page this Monday and Friday morning. Tines to be confirmed.

This is a film of the story you could watch and Lisa will read the story on Monday, on Facebook.

Week commencing 11th May 2020 – Senses and Julia Donaldson

As you all enjoyed the Julia Donaldson books last week, we thought we would look at some more. This weeks suggested learning will also makes us think about our senses (see worksheet attached).

Also attached is a fun senses scavenger hunt and also some suggested EYFS activities to try at home (this will specifically help those preparing for school).

Lisa will read Freddie and the Fairy on Facebook, today at 9.30. The story is all about a fairy who can’t hear very well, so this will help us think about how we use our senses.

If you can’t watch on Facebook, here is a link to the story on YouTube.
