• Make fairy cakes measuring, mixing and following the recipe (CL, PD, M)
• Talk about the equipment used in the kitchen e.g. scales, utensils (UTW, CL)
• Emphasize initial sounds in words – phonetic, eh not ee (L, CL)
• Outside reading/book area, playhouse (CL, L, PSED)
• Build a car garage, match numbered cars to their spaces (M)
• Ribbon dancing to music (EAD, PD)
• Promote indépendance e.g putting on shoes (PD)
• Treasure hunt in the sand (M, CL)
• Listening walk, sounds of nature (CL, UTW)
